Leadership in an Attitude, Not Just a Belt
1.  Is the Martial Arts at Culin Karate Center safe?
 At Culin Karate Center, SAFETY is our number 1 priority.  As a student you are shown how to safely train with other students.  
 
2.  What are the appropriate ages to start martial arts training?
 We have students from 3 years of age to over 70 training at our Academy.  Many children have started by 3 and a half years old, and are now Black Belts at our Academy! So contact us today to set up an evaluation to see if your child is ready to begin their Martial Arts and Leadership training.
 
3.  What if I began Martial arts training somewhere else?
Contact us to set up a free evaluation and discuss your previous training. Depending on the style and years of training, there may be a fast-track program you can qualify for.
 
4.  How long does it take to achieve a black belt?
Usually 36-42 months, depending on how young you start and if you choose to attend more than extra classes or take private lessons. Some students will progress faster than others, however the Black Belt quest is not a race; it is a journey!
 
5.  Do you offer private lessons?
Yes we do!  Contact us to get more information or schedule your first private lesson today!
 
6.  How long are classes and how often do they meet?
Our basic program starts at 2 classes per week, each class is 30 minutes. Contact us to get all the exciting details and learn more about our weapons seminars and Leadership classes.
 
7.  Can families train together?
Yes, all of our classes are family oriented and we have several Grandparents who take classes with their grandchildren.  Contact us to get more information about our family package.
 
8.  Are weapons taught at Culin Karate Center?
Yes!  We safely teach numerous different types of weapons including Nunchuck , Escrima , sword techniques, bo-staff and many others. Contact us to find out when we are offering our next weapons seminar.
 
9.  Are your Leadership and Weapons seminars open to the public?
Yes. We offer monthly seminars focused on self-defense, weapons and leadership that are open to the public. Check our calendar for the latest information.
 
10.  What other programs are offered at Culin Karate Center?
In addition to our Martial Arts training, we have Leadership training, Self-Defense Seminars, Weapons Seminars, Birthday Parties, Parents Night, Kick-A-Thons, and several others events.  Contact us to find out about our next event.
